Looking for a creative, hands-on option for your child this school holidays?
We've got just the line up for you!
Join us for some creative playfulness in our Mindful Art Workshops for ages 8-12.
Your child will explore a different art theme each day, designed to inspire greater awareness of our world & how we relate to it. We're sure to use lots of imagination, while creating some awesome art! They'll be painting, drawing, t-shirt designing and more.
Oct 2 - Create a Hero
Oct 3 - Invent a Plant
Oct 4 - Design a Home
Oct 5 - What's your Ideal Planet look like?
Oct 6 - Fashion Design Friday! (Design and paint your own t-shirt to take home)
Oct 9 - Make a Comic
Oct 10 - Recycle Art
Oct 11 - Make Your Own Short Film
Oct 12 - Silly Portrait
Oct 13 - Fashion Design Friday! (Design and paint your own t-shirt to take home)
What to send with your child each day:
All art materials will be supplied. Kids just need to bring a lunch, water bottle, and clothes that you don't mind if they get a bit messy! (We recommend you bring along an old oversized t-shirt to wear over clothes. It can be kept at The Hub for the week).
We like to keep the class size small for more personal, focused attention.
Spaces are limited to 10 children.
About the teacher:
Muchu, a mural artist, youth worker & founder of Painting Possibility, will lead the workshops daily. He's been leading art workshops & facilitating community murals with children ages 4-14 since 2013.

Hear from some of our happy parents:
"He's a talented artist and connects wonderfully with the kids. I'd highly recommend him for teaching art or creating art for any school or community group. Thanks Muchu!" - Jenny Foulds, School Trustee & Mum of 8 year old girl
"He's a natural with youth, as he's a natural at defying potential barriers between people. Muchu exudes empathy and acceptance. He engages people as equals, purposefully and with keen interest in who they are, where they are coming from, where they are going and would like to go." - Toncie Murat Wells, Facilitator at Nambour Community Centre & Dad
"I was keen to have Muchu teach my daughter art and have her help him with a mural on her bedroom wall as Muchu is a very enthusiastic, friendly, encouraging & kind person and his art work is full of colour and inspires positivity. He always brings a smile or creates a smile wherever he goes." - Sonya Godfrey, Naturopath
